Hey, how's it going? Thanks for stopping by! So, you're interested in finding out more about me? Well, I'm a singer-songwriter from central Illinois. With music to share.
My dad worked on the railroad when I was four or five...ish. And mom gave me a few small crates of 45s to help keep me entertained while he was away. I remember the Jackson Five records were a favorite of mine to sing along to. And honestly, there's been something pulling at me ever since.
Music has always been a huge part of my journey over the years. Whether it was singing along to Matchbox 20 or Blessed Union of Souls in my room in my teenage years, choir in school, karaoke, open mics, DJing weddings, or jamming with friends, that familiar pull was there. Unfortunately, it took some time, way too much, to get my mind in the right place and build up the confidence to perform to more than just the spiders in the basement. Not saying my confidence is strong by any means, but I am learning to step out of my comfort zone!
I like to blend a set of acoustic covers, originals, and stories together for an intimate evening of entertainment.
The hard part is balancing a full-time job, being a dad, husband, and a singer-songwriter; it can give you gray hairs! Jokes aside, I am extremely thankful to my family for their support and for being an active part of this adventure.
I think that's all for now. For more, join me on one of my social media platforms. I would definitely appreciate your support and having you along for the craziness ahead.
